Course Purpose
This course introduces clinicians to approaching complex sexual topics with confidence. Participants gain practical frameworks for holding complexity without avoidance, overreach, or harm, supporting both client wellbeing and clinician integrity.
Credit Alignment: 4.25 CE hours, including 2.5 hours of ethics
This course addresses ethical risk and bias mitigation in sex-positive practice. Content aligns with core ethical principles, scope of practice, cultural responsiveness, and professional responsibility, preparing clinicians to manage ethical tension, reduce harm, and apply structured ethical decision-making models in real-world clinical scenarios.
Continuing Education Eligibility
As always, per our attendance policy, credit is based on verified attendance for 100% of the instructional time claimed. This course meets the continuing education requirements for the 50% criteria for approved providers in Texas.
- The board does not pre-approve continuing education courses. Licensees are responsible for determining whether a specific course meets board requirements for their individual license and renewal cycle. Check with your state licensure board to confirm eligibility.
- CEs will be granted within no more than three business days after submission of course evaluation.

On-Demand Program Refunds:
A full refund may be requested within two weeks of the purchase date. Single registrations only. Refunds are available only if CEs have not been provided
Group and bulk discount registrations are offered at a reduced rate and are therefore not eligible for refunds. If a registered participant can no longer attend, you may substitute another individual at no additional cost as long as the course has not yet been viewed or attended.
If Garden Space Counseling PLLC cancels the event, participants receive a full refund or may transfer to a future program.
