Course Description

This 90-minute introductory ethics CE provides clinicians with clear, balanced, evidence-based, sex-positive, and client-centered understanding.
You’ll step away from this course with greater comfort and competence to address a major hot-button issue in the counseling world.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Differentiate evidence-based risks from common myths about pornography use.
- Summarize key research on pornography use and psychosocial correlates to inform clinical understanding.
- Evaluate how age-verification laws may shape client experiences of shame, privacy, and sexual autonomy.
- Apply ethical and sexual-health frameworks to support informed, non-pathologizing, and client-centered care.
