Sexual & Relational Health Consultation Group

Whether you're a seasoned mental health professional or an Associate working toward licensure, this sex-positive, inclusive consultation group is here to give you the support and confidence you need to effectively and ethically work with erotic and relational concerns. We share in-depth discussion, practical guidance and resources, and collegial support for navigating complex erotic and relational topics with clarity, confidence, and ethical integrity.

We can explore a wide range of domains related to sexual and relational health, including the following and more:

• Ethics and professional boundaries

• Anatomy, physiology, and sexual health

• Erotic communication and consent

• Desire discrepancy and mismatched libido

• Gender and sexual identities

• Kink and alternative relationship structures

• Pornography and media literacy

• Intimacy, connection, and relational repair

Discussion is intentionally inclusive and affirming of all sexual orientations, gender identities, relationship structures, and levels of clinical experience. Questions are welcome, curiosity is encouraged, and no topic is treated as taboo.

Whether you’re seeking consultation on a specific case, expanding your clinical knowledge, or simply wanting a space to think and talk more freely about sex and relationships, this group is designed to support thoughtful, ethical, real-world practice.

Schedule: Group meets from 12:00-1:30 CST every other Friday, with periodic exceptions. The next meetings currently scheduled for 2026 are:

• May 8 & 22, 2026

This consultation group is designed for professional development, peer consultation, and supervision.*

*Supervision hours qualify only for LPC Associates documented and on record as being under the current supervision of Stephanie Van Fossen, LPC Supervisor.

Continuing Education (CE) credit is not currently offered for this group. Should CE become available in the future, details regarding eligibility, requirements, and accreditation will be clearly communicated in advance.
