Holy & Whole: Ethics at the Intersection of Faith & Sexuality

This live, in person course pairs a Protestant Reverend and Sex Educator with an atheist Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Sex Therapist (LPC-S, CST). Together, we address the relationship between theology and sexuality in clinical practice, supporting both client wellbeing and clinician integrity. The aim is to provide you with information and a practical framework for holding complexity without pathologizing or disparaging anyone's beliefs (or non-belief), desires, or identity. 


  • Up to 2.5 ethics or special populations (cultural competency) CE hours 
  • Course is designed to meet the 50% criteria for Texas licensed clinicians
  • In-person seating is limited.
  • Attendance includes didactic training, optional discussion, networking, light snacks and refreshments.

Meet Our Co-Presenter, Rev. Audrua!

Audrua Welch is the Associate Pastor at Plymouth Park United Methodist Church in Irving, Texas, where she has served since 2015. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Middle School English Education from the University of Houston and completed theological studies through the UMC Course of Study program. Audrua is a trained educator and a Licensed Local Pastor in the United Methodist Church with experience teaching various age groups, facilitating workshops, and writing curriculum for the United Methodist Publishing House.


Audrua is passionate about helping people navigate conversations about bodies, relationships, faith, and values with honesty, compassion, and clarity. Audrua is currently pursuing certification as a sexual educator through the Sexual Health Alliance. When she's not yapping about human sexuality, you can find her trouncing through the woods, sewing up a quilt, or sipping on a cocktail with her 11 year old Boston Terrier, Dobby, by her side.

Course Structure & FAQ

  • On Demand Access

    Participants will retain access to the on-demand course for a minimum of one year following the course release date.

  • Refund / Cancellation Policy

    Live Program Refunds:

    • A full refund may be requested up to two days prior to the date of the live event.*
    • Single registrations only.

    * Refunds and cancellations for commissioned courses and speaking engagements must be requested no less than 2 weeks in advance. 


    On-Demand Program Refunds:

    • A full refund may be requested within two weeks of the purchase date.
    • Single registrations only.
    • Refunds are available only if CEs have not been provided

    Group and bulk discount registrations are offered at a reduced rate and are therefore not eligible for refunds. If a registered participant can no longer attend, you may substitute another individual at no additional cost as long as the course has not yet been viewed or attended.



    Sexual & Relational Health Consultation Group Refunds: 


    • Please understand that refunds are not available once a consultation group has been attended or the scheduled group date has passed.

    • Full-year registrations may be refunded upon request on a prorated basis, minus the cost of meetings already attended and meeting dates already passed (calculated at the per-meeting rate).

    If Garden Space Counseling PLLC cancels the event, participants receive a full refund or may transfer to a future program.

  • Attendance Verification

    Live Webinar (Synchronous) 


    Attendance will be verified using one or more of the following: 

    • Zoom attendance report   
    • Periodic engagement check-ins
    • Completion of program evaluation

    Participants must attend 100% of instructional time to receive credit   


    On-Demand (Asynchronous) 


    Completion will be verified through: 

    • Full video viewing (platform completion tracking)   
    • Submission of post-course quiz with minimum 80% passing score
    • Completion of program evaluation

  • Charity Donations

    Charity donations connected with on demand purchases will be made after the window for refunds has passed, at which point you will be emailed a copy of the receipt or a screenshot to confirm that Garden Space has donated the proceeds from your registration.


    If by that time you have not selected an organization, Garden Space will default to donating to the ACLU.

    Garden Space Counseling PLLC is committed to high-quality continuing education. Participants who have concerns, complaints, or grievances related to course content, instructor conduct, facility/technology issues, or administrative processes may submit a formal grievance.


    Grievances should be submitted in writing to:

    Grievances will receive a written response within 10 business days and will be addressed through:

    • Clarification or resolution with the instructor
    • Administrative correction where appropriate and updated materials

    Garden Space Counseling PLLC documents and retains all grievances and resolutions for a minimum of five (5) years.
