Confidence & Clinical Integrity: Ethical Foundations for a Sex Positive Practice

FULL COURSE & comprehensive workbook with reflections, resources, and actionable tools.

Course Purpose

Ethics gets complicated in the context of sex, identity, and power. And, meeting requirements doesn’t always prepare us for real ethical tension. Ethics isn’t just compliance. It’s reflection and action applied to insight. This course equips clinicians to navigate ethically complex sexual topics with confidence and integrity. Participants gain practical frameworks for holding complexity without avoidance, overreach, or harm, supporting both client wellbeing and clinician integrity.

Ethics Credit Alignment: This course addresses ethical risk, clinical decision-making, and bias mitigation in sex-positive practice. Content aligns with core ethical principles, scope of practice, cultural responsiveness, and professional responsibility, preparing clinicians to manage ethical tension, reduce harm, and apply structured ethical decision-making models in real-world clinical scenarios.
